Qld: Woman stabbed in mall robbery

A woman's been stabbed and her bag stolen in the toilets in Brisbane's Queen Street Mall.

Police say the 18-year-old woman struggled with her attacker, but was stabbed in the
arm with an unknown weapon and had to let go.

They've interviewed a 15-year-old girl over the incident, which happened about 10pm
(AEST), but no charges have been laid.

The injured woman was treated by ambulance officers.

Earlier in inner suburban Fortitude Valley, a woman was kicked in the ribs and had
her handbag stolen in Brunswick Street about 7.30pm.

Police say they've charged a 19-year-old woman with robbery with violence.

She's due to face Brisbane Magistrates Court on April the 27th.

Earlier yesterday, a man claiming to have a blood-filled syringe robbed a camera shop
at Mango Hill on Brisbane's northern outskirts.

Police say the man left after being given cash.
